Church protocol and record keeping

On the eve of the beginning of the new academic year, on August 31, 2023, a Ukrainian-language translation of the textbook "Church Protocol and Record Keeping" was published with the blessing of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine. The author of the publication is Archpriest Yaroslav Shovkenyk, Associate Professor of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary.

The reviewers of the publication are: Omelchenko A. V., Doctor of Law, Professor, Head of the Department of Civil and Labor Law of the Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman and Archpriest Rostyslav Snigirev, Professor, Doctor of Theology.

The textbook is structured into twelve topics, which consistently reveal the main provisions of church and secular protocol, types and methods of organizing office work, rules for drafting certain secular and church documents, and a description of the legal status of religious organizations. In addition, for the first time in church scholarly publications, the textbook contains the current Statute on the Governance of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, adopted on May 27, 2022.

The textbook is intended for students and teachers of theological schools (seminaries, colleges, theological courses), as well as for a wide range of readers.
